A Comic?? The Triumphant Return Of Aimee Fleck!

I realize I haven't posted in forever! After my (super successful) experiment in fashion 'zine production, I got hopelessly sucked into working at a job that actually paid me money.

But now I don't have to worry about that! I'm back in school as of Monday, and to kick off the school-year, have a sneak peek... of something not at all school related! In some sort of intense artistic fit of brilliance, I drew a short comic which will be available to purchase at SPX (Small Press Expo, for those not in the know!) & possibly online after that?

Basically I have no idea how this happened, but I dig it. I hope everyone had a great summer, and I look forward to producing a ton this year!

XOXO,
Aimee Fleck

Saint Jimmy

I realize I've been quiet for a bit... but it's only because I have something huge and awesome coming up! It's very hush-hush for now, but I can say it's going to be all about being fat and having fun (as so much of my art is)!

Meanwhile, have an illustration I did of Jimmy Novak, a minor character on the CW's "Supernatural". It was a birthday gift for a friend! I'm rather pleased with it.

Fat Bitch (Vol. #1) Zine Cover!

Have a sneak-peek of the zine I'm putting together for my Sequential Art final! It's going to have comics, drawings, and some fan-art... Most of which has been previously posted, but the cover (this!) and the title-page are going to be brand new! Photographs will be taken when they finally get produced.

Perhaps equally as important, this is my 100th post! I'm super grateful to everyone who keeps up with this blog, and I hope that you're enjoying my illustrations-- and will keep enjoying them in the future!

XOXO,
Aimee

Blog Re-Design!

I had always meant for the previous layout to be temporary-- and look at that, I finally got around to fixing it! My primary motivation was being able to post large images so people don't have to leave the blog to get a good look, but being able to make things rad colors was also a good motivation. Enjoy!

XOXO
Aimee

EXCITING NEWS!!!

I don't know if anyone remembers, but a while back I posted about possibly selling things... such as cute stickers! Well, now they're available:

And in action:

(Yep, that one's on my sketchbook-- pros of them being my very own product: I get one!)

Since this is a blog of my work for the most part, personal things don't really find their way here-- but I figure a quick note is reasonable for this product! I'm curvy, I'm proud, I'm big (hah!) on fat acceptance-- ladies are great in all shapes and all sizes. If you agree, you should purchase one of my stickers! Or you should purchase one anyway, because I'm poor and they're cute.

Short Yet Important Note!

From now on, I will hopefully be uploading all of my images via Flickr and then posting them here! That means that if an image looks tiny and terrible on the blog, you should click it and go to my Flickr.

Cool? Cool.

XOXOXO,
Aimee
