The Fullfillments of Fate and Desire

Finishing the semester off with a bang, here are three illustrations based on Storm Constantine's "Wraeththu" novels, done for my Advanced Digital Illustration final!

How To Decide On The Floral Arrangements For Two Dinner Parties At Once

How To Decide On The Floral Arrangements For Two Dinner Parties At Once

Put all other interests on hold, patterns are awesome! So is the fact that some Victorian ladies dueled topless once. I think it should have been a fight-club-like situation. Alternatively, I would like to start a Victorian-dress topless dueling club, please!

Veritas/Aequitas

VeritasAequitas

Two pieces for my Lifestlye Illustration final! The assignment was to draw someone as they are during the day and as they are during the night. I took this opportunity to draw pretty religious stuff as well as use some of my Boondock Saints love in a (somewhat) productive manner!

Fierce Ladies Pattern

Fierce Ladies Cooking Pattern

A pattern I started in my Advanced Digital class and finished when I definitely should have been doing other things! Featuring fierce barbarian ladies making dinner. Inspiration credit goes to Rebecca Dart, original drawer of the fierce-EST barbarian ladies doing things!

Ladies Who Love Tea

An epic poster full of ladies who love to drink tea! If you're a lady who likes to drink tea, or are fond of such ladies, this post may be available to buy online eventually, but will DEFINITELY be available to purchase at the MICA Art Market!

Matching The Decor

Matching The Decor (1)

Matching The Decor (2)

Two pieces for my Lifestyle Illustration class advertising... vibrators! Long story short, the sketches were originally advertising cameras, but everyone (including me) agreed that they were terrible... and so someone suggested to change them to vibrator advertisements, and I did, and it was a good decision, as I feel these came out excellently.

Advertised are the LELO INEZ, the LELO ALIA, and the LELO ISLA.

Red Lion

Red Lion

Our latest Lifestyle Illustration assignment was to create an image that represents a cocktail! I chose the Red Lion, which according to Esquire, is as follows:

1 ounce London dry gin
1 ounce Grand Marnier
1/2 ounce orange juice
1/2 ounce lemon juice

Fancy!

Maiden's Prayer

Maiden's Prayer

Cool drawings are coming, I promise! In the mean time, have a small ink painting I did for the third issue of Rebecca Mock's "Quickie" publication. The original of this will probably for sale at MICA's Art Market this year!

Aliens!!

Aliens Poster

Aliens Poster (Alternative Color)

Happy almost-Halloween, guys! Have a poster for the classic 1986 sci-fi horror film, "Aliens"! Directly by James Cameron and starring Sigourney Weaver, you should definitely give it a try if you haven't seen it! Even for those of us (me) who don't like horror. It's more... bad-ass action-adventure, with scary bits.

There are two versions of this because a 4-color version was required for class, but I cheated and added a fifth color for kicks afterward. I actually don't know which one I like better! There are tons of other versions kicking around on my hard-drive, too, with loads of colors.

Have a spooky weekend!

Good Omens

Good Omens

I made this sweet drawing for my Advanced Digital class! It was just a double portrait, but then I added the title because I love hand-drawn type.

Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett's "Good Omens" is one of my favorite books ever, if you haven't read it, go do so! I've drawn them a bunch, but this is definitely my favorite yet.

I've Started Watching X-Men: Evolution While I Work

Sunglasses At Night

You know, the 90's cartoon? Basically: I have an excuse for this, but I'm not even going to bother. Have an extremely hip Scott Summers. He wears sunglasses at night.
