Judith Slaying Holofernes

Here's this week's sketch-blog piece! Prompt was art history, so this is after Artemisia Gentileschi's "Judith Slaying Holofernes", which is the best Judith painting. Also, one of the few actually pieces of art history I remember clearly, uhhhhhhhhh. Anyway, tried out some B&W stuff here! So 80s. Reminds me of lino-cuts, which I should do again... sometime...

TOMORROW, a short comic

A LONG LONG TIME AGO (APRIL), IN A GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY (BALTIMORE)... I made a comic, and then, despite the hours of work and sweat and agony I put into it, I sort of forgot about it for a while. You may have also forgotten, or you may have not!

Either way, that comic, Tomorrow, is finally online for your reading pleasure! Do you like space? Do you like feelings? Then this is definitely a comic for you!

I hope you enjoy it!

Summer Lovin'!

This week's sketch-blog prompt was summer lovin'! I had like one million ideas but this is the one that ended up happening. Beach fun! Also: cuties, also: hunks.

An Ideal Meal

Last week's sketch-blog piece!

Spotted In Brooklyn: Jogging Dude

Saw this dude jogging the other day while I was heading to the subway! Up until I was approximately three feet away from him, I just thought he had super nutty circular eyebrows.

Self-Portrait of the Young Artist on the Internet in Public

I did this for the first official prompt at DOWN TO SKETCH-BLOG the sweet summer blog I'm sort-of running with/for a heck-ton of cool MICA seniors-to-be (OH GOSH)! This is actually a frame from an animation, which you can see over on the SKETCH-BLOG!! I'm super early, hopefully you'll be seeing a lot more of these through the end of the week from some AMAZING people!!
