My latest assignment in my Maps & Places class was to make a map of a subculture. I immediately decided to do the one that I, dare I say it, love the most-- fandom. It tends to be one of those you-only-understand-it-if-you're-in-it things, but I figured I would give it a shot, anyway. As silly a thing as it seems, I probably would not be the same person I am today without it, as a lot of my early (and not-so-early) artistic inspiration and endeavors were fan-art!
Anyway, have a map. And for those who are interested, I might be looking into ways to get this printed as a poster...
